Jessie Vogel-

is a 26 year old bail bondsman who works with her gruff father as a bounty hunter. She is strikingly beautiful and deceptively unassuming, but uses her looks as a trap. Shortly after the prison break, she tracked the Latimer Brothers to an isolated road and picked them up as innocent hitch hikers. She took them to her house and escorted them to the basement, only to lock the steel bolted door and trap them as her prisoners. Her imposing father, Walter, watched from a safe distance with shot gun in hand. As she waits for the feds to arrive to collect the brothers, one of the brothers disappears. She quickly discovers the brothers are not the simple convicts she thought them to be. When she finds her father dead and the Latimer Brothers have escaped, Jessie engages in a hunt to kill them.
Jessie is haunted by her guilt and persecution of her long-separated husband. Shortly after she found out she was pregnant the doctor explained that her body would not survive the pregnancy. Though her husband protested, she had an abortion to save her own life. Her husband condemned her after a severe beating, and swore that if he ever saw her again he would kill her.
Beneath her dangerous beauty and the walls she has built around her conscience, she finds herself torn and vulnerable, searching for something pure to believe in. As she pursues the Latimer Brothers, she is forced to face the demons that have stalked through her life since childhood.
