“Dutch” David Fuller-

is a 30 year old, divorced FBI agent. His parents were murdered in a bizarre massacre in the early nineties. Trying to put this behind him, he has learned to immerse himself in his work and avoid talking about the demons that lie in wait just beneath the surface. Since his divorce he has struggled to prove himself as a good father despite the restraining order that allows him to visit his son only with a social worker present. When he discovers his ex-wife is taking their son to move across the country he pursues a custody battle that he is sure to lose.
Following the escape of the Latimers Brother (who were convicted for the mass murder of his parents) Dutch is drawn into the hunt by a series of strange forces. He seems to be the only man who understands what the Latimer Brothers are trying to do. He uncovers a plot to draw several people into their cult and finish the massacre they started seventeen years earlier.
When his son Jonah suddenly disappears, Dutch is implicated for his abduction. Convinced it was the Latimer brothers that kidnapped his son, Dutch sets out to hunt them down, and stop them from their sadistic plot.
Though he tries his best to bury it, Dutch still carries the hope of a young boy. He secretly blames himself for his parents murder and tortures himself by sabotaging any relationship that attempts to get close to him. Dutch begins this journey as a skeptic that wants to believe and a cynic that secretly wants to be proven wrong. He walks into the dark believing it will swallow him whole, but discovers light where there was none. He gradually sees all of his paradigms being turned inside out.
